Hey everybody! It's good to see you again! So, we're back, that is; DE is back. I've spent the last three days redoing the coding, making this gorgeous new skin, and looking over every article I have on this site and reposting it. So hopefully it looks beautiful, amazing and new! I absolutely love it, and I hope all of you do to! But first, I need to go over some things. As the site is reopening, I'm going to have a sort of activity check - but fear not! It's not an actual activity check. You see; all it is is for anyone who is returning needs to post there with the characters they plan on keeping, that way I know who is keeping who, and can adjust the needed royals, needed gods, and name claim appropriately. Although this is much like a new start for DE, I'm offering all returning members the ability to not just keep their characters (as in, no need to remake them) but also any gods they have, and any royals, or horses with positions. So, please return.
So now that this is cleared up, we are going to have some new features showing up. Right now, the newest feature is a cycle for the OTMS. Rather than having the same OTMs being offered every month, I have three different sets of OTMs, to spice things up. One month, you'll have your character, member, and staff of the month. The next month, you'll have family, friends, and lovers of the month, and on the third month, we'll have herd, element, and thread of the month. One the fourth month, we'll start over again with the character, member, and staff. Thus, the rotation is on a three month cycle. Also, we will have set cycle for winter, spring, fall, and summer. Once a month, it will change. Remember, it is encouraged to age your character appropriately with the seasons. In coming months, once I have everything set up, you will also notice a new board coming up, this board being our 'Gossip Gelding' (please note that the name is under work, so it may change).
The Gossip Gelding will be like our 'Twitter' or 'Gossip Girl.' Once a week, the 'gossip gelding' will post up a thread with gossip about the three most active characters. So if you want to be mentioned, you'll have to keep your posting up. At the end of the month, there will be a major gossip thread, where information has been gathered over the month. It's a free for all, so any character may be mentioned. In these threads, feel free to have your character reply, with either arguing, denying, or agreeing to the gossip. We encourage this. Also, all gossip will be IC, meaning, once a gossip is posted, it will be known to all characters.
Now, onto the promotion. Currently going on, we have the Activity Check, remember; all you have to do is post with the characters you are planning on keeping.. If you want to go into more detail, say who you are deleting, or what not; we will not stop you - but the bare minimum you must post is the characters you will keep. We also have an Adversing contest, going on that we encourage you to enter. The prizes are awesome, and it's a quick way to gain some Divinus Shards. We also still have tons of characters for you to be able to claim. Gods and Goddesses, for example; we still have a handful of the elemental gods and goddesses up for grabs, so if you want a cool character like that, feel free to audition. Royals are still needed for Water, and Heart, so please feel free to audition for them! We would really like to get the royals claimed up. We also still have all the Canon Characters available. If you want to be directly related to the plot, then these are some of the ways to go!
Now, if you are a new member here, feel free to audition for any of the previously mentioned auditions. Also there are still a few staff positions available, if you'd like to be a staff member. New members, also make sure you have read the rules, the equine rules, and the plot so you understand what is going on. If you need more information on the elements, then you can find it here, or you can pm a staff member for help at any time.
