Those who look after us are the gods of the land, and the god of fire respectively. They have ultimate control, and must be respected at all times. Should you stray otherwise, it is at your own fault.
Those Who Took The Reins are the King or Queen and heirs of the land. They will be the ones that loosely control your life unless you leave your element. They are to be respected at punishment of death or servitude at their or the Lord's discretion.
Those That Seek Minimal Control are the Lord, Lady, or heir of the land that you are in. Their word is law here, and they must be obeyed. If one has an issue with another, it must be brought before them. They are to be respected while in this land, and offense to any of them is punishable by choice of the Lord. Gaining their favor is likely to promote your status in the herd, but sucking up might not do it.
Those Who Alone Have Gained Favor are the Lord and Lady's chosen ones, who are closest to the leading family. They will be the ones controlling the land if the Lord or Lady are out, and their child will be the playmate of the heirs. The Knight's Lady and the Lady's Knight may be different people, as the Lord and Lady may favor different people. There will be no more than one favored pair for each member of the leading line.
Those Who Seek To Serve are the members of the army that resides here. They are here to train and serve the Lord of the land. They are also available to the King or Queen should they ask for the use of them. Each member of this class is thoroughly trained by the Lord or his Beta before they are allowed to enter full service. Full service may not be entered until three years of age and approval of the Lord or Beta must be granted.
Those Who Simply Seek Shelter are the herd members who reside here but have no desire for a fighting life. These number less than the army, but they are here. The mares that the Lord keeps to play with that do not wish to serve him and fight as well are under this class as are any stallions that wish a life of peace. These stallions and mares are likely to be thought somewhat less of by the herd, but it is a choice the Lord grants them without giving his personal opinion.
Those Who Are Untouchable are the servants who serve the ranked of the herd. All of these are in technicality property of the Lord, but he grants use of them to all of the favored and warriors in the herd. They are untouchable because unless you are using them for some sort of purpose, be it fighting practice or the likes, you should not be seen touching them. They are not allowed to be used to pleasure yourself. Attempting this will get you sent straight to this type of service yourself.
