( EQUINE RULES)
So you read the other rules already, well
good, now here is the rules for the equines
that you will be playing on the site.
( ELEMENTS)
Divinus Elementum is NOT a realistic site, why, simple
really, here in the land of Elementum, the creatures
have elemental powers. Well at least the equines do.
So here are a few simple rules. Your equine can only
have one elemental power. You only gain your powers at
the age of two, and you are not allowed to change your
element, unless you appeal to the god or goddess.
Fire equines control everything from flames to lightning,
if it has to do with power, they can control. They can also
control smoke on a certain level.
Water equines can control water, make it freeze or unfreeze.
They however can NOT affect the weather. Experienced Water
Benders can control the water in a living being, but this is a rare
power, and is rarely taught.
Air equines can control wind currents, control tornadoes and other
similiar wind storms. They cannot control the weather.
Earth equines can manipulate the earth into anything, can cause
plants to grow, and can sometimes even communicate with
the earth.
Heart equines have healing powers, and can heal almost
anything. They can sense how good, or evil an equine is,
and they can feel the relationships between horses. Heart
equines are also unreasonably talented at finding another
equine's perfect match. They are the second most rare element.
Spirit equines are the rarest equines to find. They have
the ability to communicate with the dead, see the dead, and
even cross the dead over. They also have the ability to travel to
the plane between the living world and the world of the dead.
Spirit equines can sense any spirit with out even looking, and
can see auras. Spirit equines also have the ability to bond with
any creature, living or dead.
( ROYALS)
All elements have a royal, even if it's just one. The
royal can be King or Queen, as long as they are of the
right alliance. The royals of the element tend to be the
best of the best when it comes to controlling their element.
Royals cannot be challenged for. But when a royal dies
the deities will choose the next royal to take their place,
though they usually choose the heir.
( STALLIONS)
Stallions can be any alliance, though heart stallions
and spirit stallions are rather rare, which is why the
two elements are the rarest to come by. Stallions can
be stronger and more powerful than mares, but not
always.
However, stallions can force claim, and force breed.
Stallions may take slaves, but only if they are in a ranked
position. Stallions may steal mares, and foals, and other
less or non ranked stallions. They may fight for land, mares,
and foals. Stallions may fight mares, but the deities frown
upon this.
If a stallion claims you, you must go with him. The mare
has no say in the matter. To force claim, all the stallion
needs to do, is bite the mare, then she is his. Same with
foals. Stallions can claim lands, but must have the permission
of their king or queen to become official lead.
( MARES)
Mares can be any alliance, though Spirit and Heart
mares are more common then Spirit Stallions and
Heart Stallions. Mares may be weaker then stallions,
but not always.
Mares may force claim other mares and foals, but they
cannot force breed. Mares can be both force claimed and
force bred. Mares can only take slave if they are a beta or
higher in ranking, though it is frowned upon. Mares may
steal other mares and foals, only. They may fight for position
and foals, or for land. They may fight stallions, but it is dangerous
for the mare. Mares can be stolen.
Mares may claim land, but must have the permission of
the king or queen to become the official lead.
( FOALS)
Foals do not find their powers till they are two.
Just because a parent is a certain power, does
not mean the foal will be as well. When a foal
turns three, they officially become an adult.
Foals cannot claim lands, claim other foals, or steal.
They can be force claimed, or stolen, how ever they
can neither be force bred, nor can they breed. A foal
can be abandoned, and both mares and stallions may
adopt them
If a foal is abandoned, it may not always live.
( CLAIMING)
To claim a land, your character has to have been
made at least two weeks before you claim. You
also need to be of the same alliance as the land
being claimed. Your claiming post must be at least 500
words. The King or Queen will reply to you, or if
there is no ruler for your alliance yet, a deity will
answer.
Once your land is accepted, you must put up a ranks
list, and keep it up to date. If your land hasn't had a post
in it for over two weeks, you will be asked to make your
lands more active. If you, as the lead, do not post in it for
over a month, your land will be stripped from you.
( STEALING)
To make a steal, you must post a riddle about the equine
you are stealing. It must include at least seven hints.
You can make it as difficult, or as easy as you wish. Once
you have posted the riddle the lead most post with in five
days correctly blocking which ever equine they believe you
are stealing. A stallion may only block two equines, mare, foal,
or stallion. A mare may only block two equines, but only other
mares and foals. If in five days the mare, foal, or stallion that
was being stolen is not blocked, they must go with the stealer,
and stay with him for a week. After that week, they are free
to go back to who ever they were with before.
( FIGHTING)
Fighting can only take place in Bloodbathed Plains. The
guidelines and rules of the fight must be agreed on by
both parties before the fight begins. You are allowed
five attacks, and three dodges, unless a different amount
is okayed by both parties, and you have admin permission
to change it. Once the fight has finished, please pm an admin
You will be judged on length, quality, detail, how realistic your
fighting was, and the health and experience of your character.
When the decision has been made, a deity will appear to tell
who the winner is.
( MAFIA/KILLING RULES)
Okay so many of you may not have noticed yet, but DE is a
very unique place. It is one of the few sites where you will
not be able to control when your character dies unless you
specifically ask a rper to have their character kill yours. You
will come to see that we have Mafias, Serial Killers, you name
it and we probably have at least one. Why? Because that is
the type of site DE is. But we have to put up some rules
to control how this is done, so that you don't get your creations
killed every other second.
For starters, you can't just go into a thread, kill and leave. It
is similar to a fight. The killer will go in, attack, the other equine
attacks back, and so it's a fight. A staff will come in when the fight
is deemed over and declare whether your horse lived or died, and
whether the killer was caught, or escaped.
These fights will be judged on the killer's track record. The health
of both characters, the roleplayer's ability to rp this out. How
many attacks landed, missed, glancing blows. If a staff member
is part of the fight, then another staff member will have to step
in. The fight will be judged by three staff members, and it's a
majority vote. If we cannot find three staff members to judge it
then we will ask for members to help.
( BREEDING/BIRTHING)
Breeding is to only take place in lands that allow
breeding, or the couple's terra. Mares can be force
bred, but stallions may not. If you are going to get
graphic, please put [M] or something similar in the
title to warn those who do not want to read it.
Birthing is to take place only in the birthing lands,
or in the mare's home terra. The stallion may be there,
but doesn't have to. A mare may abandon the foal any
time after the birth. If you plan to get graphic, again,
please put [M] in the title, for warning.
( COMPANIONS)
All equines are given a companion. They can be of any
breed, and gender. These companions are like the
equine's best friend. The companion not only finds the equine,
but it is the companion who chooses the equine. You
cannot force a companion to be your equine's companion.
When you sign up, your personality will be judged, and
based on that, you will be given a companion. Please,
however, remember to give your companion a name.
( OTHER RULES)
These rules are able to be changed at any time, so
please check back regularly. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Your admins.
